Job Description

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the Service Desk.
Update network applications as required.
Maintain daily tape backup and off-site tape storage.
Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software.
Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.
Increase efficiencies, technical ability and interpersonal skills.
Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking.
Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software.
Complete special projects as requested.


OS installation/uninstall.
Network related issues & Printer issues
application installation & User Data Backup
Configuring mail Id’s in Outlook as IMAP configuration
A weekly check of each laptop (virus related, or any other issues)
In case of hardware or software defects , you will need to take necessary steps for replacement of the defects item.
Issues with internet, You will have to call the technician (internet provider) if in case of internet problems.
Solving issues in the case of cables not working, etc.
