Job Description

Having experience Linux Server Administration and Management in a production environment.
· Extensive experience with the Linux operating system (Experience with Ubuntu preferred).
· Clear understanding of Linux internals (e.g. Memory management, File Systems, Process Management)
· Experience with Amazon Web Services and management of cluster and deployments on a very large scale.
· Actively monitor and administer the applications and hosting environment to increase efficiency, performance Optimization, improve reliability, and minimize down times.
· Pro-actively monitor product/services/site performance, uptime, availability and analyse logs/metrics.

Requirements

Strong working knowledge and previous experience supporting some of the following:
o Postfix
o PostgreSQL
o SSL
o DNS
o TCP/IP
o Dovecot
o Nginx
o AWS
o Backup
o Subversion

Responsibilities

Strong scripting skills in at least one scripting language, preferably shell scripting or Python.
DBA administration of PostgreSQL.
Manage and control the continuous release promotion cycle (through automation) of development, staging, UAT and production environments.
