Job Description

Designing and development of low-latency, high-availability, and performant SOA based platform which is highly modular and scalable.
Strong expertise in Web Services design and development and hands-on skills in REST API extension and development is mandatory.
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code with great quality.
Implementation and maintenance of an excellent automation test framework.
Driving continuous improvement and innovation into engineering deliveries.
Implementation of security and data protection
Mentoring of junior engineers.

Requirements

5+ years building web applications in Django.
Good understanding of web server configuration with any of (Apache, Nginx or Waitress).
Expert level understanding of OOAD (Object Oriented Architecture & Design), object-oriented web development.
4+ years with front-end development HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
4+ years in relational database technology for instance MySQL
2+ years in NoSQL database technology for instance MongoDB or Cassandra
2+ years of experience in implementation of RESTful web services using Django framework.
Experience of and a drive for Test Driven Development or Behaviour Driven Development.
Experience of working in Agile development environment
A passion for automating everything, not least continuous integration and deployment.
Experience of working on a SOA based distributed system with high transactional volume.
